E-learning Platform for Digital Learning and Information Base Management System
To provide employees with diverse and independent learning channels, Formosa Plastics Group has been developing an e-learning system since 2000 in line with the overall planning. To this day, the system has provided more than 1,000 courses. There is also an "Formosa Plastics Group E-learning Center" that offers all kinds of online courses, articles, new books, and speeches, allowing employees to learn online easily. From April 2005, FPG issues a "Learning Newsletter" every month to notify employees about online courses and provide them with the latest learning information so that they can expand their knowledge.
Information Base Management System
Moreover, FPG launched a Information base management system in 2000. This platform includes all kinds of rules within FPG, inspirational and valuable knowledge and technical experiences from different deapartments, allowing employees to share and look up information anytime and effectively disseminating the corporate knowledge. At present, 11 categories have been built according to their functions, with a total of more than 20,000 records.
