Introduction
Impacted by the sharp reversal of the global economic climate, FPG’s overall revenue in 2022 is NT$2.5968 trillion, which is a small increase of NT$136 billion or 5.5% from 2021. However, the rise in overall costs reduced profits in the petrochemical industry, and as a result, the pretax profit in 2022 was NT$195.6 billion, a drastic decrease of NT$275.6 billion or 58.5% compared to 2021.

The overall revenue of Formosa Plastics Group in 2021 was NT$2.4608 trillion, which is an increase of NT$775.6 billion (46%) from
2020. The company's pre-tax profit was NT$471.2 billion, and annual profit increased significantly by NT$339.8 billion (259%) from 2020.
